Meet Mario, our Camp Director!
Favorite Activity : Gather!
Favorite Memory: “All camp dodgeball game, counselors vs. campers, gets down to 1v1 and Declan gets sniped by an unassuming second grader… campers win!!!”
Mario says: “It’s been so rewarding to establish and scale Mountain Camp Marin… I’m incredibly excited to welcome back folks that gave us a try in our inagural summer and I’m looking forward to welcoming the 100+ campers that are trying us for the first time this year!”
Meet Danny, now an Assistant Director!
Favorite Activity: Going to the park!
Favorite Memory: “Last year I loved seeing returning campers on Monday mornings, ready to have another great week!”
Danny says: “I’m returning to MCM this summer because I had such a great time building community and learning from campers and staff last year!”
Meet Ben, a NEW Assistant Director!
Favorite Activities: Gardening and Yoga
Why MCM?: “To work with Mario and design new outdoor activities.”
Ben is excited for: “Meeting the returning campers and their family!”
Meet Kendra, a returning Senior Counselor!
Favorite Activities: Arts & Crafts and Tie Dye!
Favorite Memory: “My favorite camp memories are seeing everyone’s tie dye shirts on Fridays! I loved getting to see the campers’ creativity with their designs and how excited they were to make their own shirt. It was so fun seeing everyone decked out in bright colors and high camp spirit!”
Kendra says: “I am coming back to camp this year because I had so much fun last year! It was a blast making strong connections with my co-counselors, and I loved getting to know all the campers.”
Meet Ella, a returning Senior Counselor!
Favorite Activity: Tie Dye
Favorite Memory: “I really enjoyed Wacky Wednesday fashion show. It was so awesome to see everyone in costume!!”
Ella says: “I am coming back for camp this year because last year I had so much fun!! Camp is such a rewarding experience, and I really enjoyed meeting so many campers who also made it the best summer for me!”
Meet Kate, a returning Senior Counselor and new Marketing Coordinator!
Favorite Activities: Dodgeball or Arts & Crafts
Favorite Memory: “Greeting all the campers every morning at drop-off!”
Kate says: “I like staying active, happy, and outside during summer.”
Meet Caleigh, a returning Senior Counselor!
Favorite Activity: “Arts and crafts! I love making friendship bracelets and painting with campers and other counselors!”
Favorite Memory: “My favorite memory from last summer was having dance parties in the theatre room!”
Caleigh says: “I’m coming back this year because I miss the kiddos and my coworkers! Mountain Camp Marin is the best!”
Meet Ava, a NEW Senior Counselor!
Favorite Activity: “My favorite camp activity has always been enjoying the sunshine outside swimming or hiking, or really just any outdoor activity!”
Why MCM?: “I want to be a mcm counselor because of my huge love for summer camp growing up! The thought of giving campers such a fun summer camp experience like I did is so exciting!”
Ava says: “I’m looking forward to meeting everyone on staff and hopefully doing some arts and crafts activities with campers!”
Meet Chris, a NEW Senior Counselor!
Favorite Activity: Field Games!
Why MCM?: “I chose this because it allows me to provide and participate in a community focused on building an appreciation for fun outdoors activities.”
Chris says: “I’m looking forward to working with fellow counselors to create an epic experience for our campers.”
Meet Olivia, a NEW Senior Counselor!
Favorite Activity: LARPing because we will have to get creative and imaginative!
Why MCM?: “I wanted to be a counselor at MCM because I loved summer camp growing up (Farm Camp was my favorite!) and I want to be part of making camp fun for everyone!”
Olivia says: “I am looking forward to dressing up in wild costumes for the theme weeks.”
Meet Greta, a NEW Senior Counselor!
Favorite Activities: Games outside or art!
Why MCM?: “I decided to work at MCM because I absolutely adore working with kids!”
Greta says: “I’m looking forward to meeting new people, hanging out in the sun, and being in nature.”
Meet Marlo, a NEW Senior Counselor!
Favorite Activity: “will probably end up being arts and crafts or gaga ball but I’m willing to be surprised!”
Why MCM?: “I decided to become a counselor at MCM because Mountain Camp was a formative experience for me as a camper and would love to contribute to that for new kids!”
Marlo says: “I’m definitely most looking forward to meeting everyone!!”
Meet Stasia, a NEW Senior Counselor!
Favorite Activity: Yoga 🧘♀️
Why MCM?: “I love being outdoors, doing activities, and getting to serve as a mentor for campers, so working at summer camp is really rewarding! It’s fun to think back to when I was camper 😄”
Stasia says: “I’m excited to meeting everyone — campers & fellow counselors alike! I’ve heard great things about Mountain Camp Marin and I’m looking forward to joining the community 🥳”
Meet Ashley, a returning General Counselor!
Favorite Activities: Going all out in medic dodgeball and singing many songs at gather
Favorite Memory: “Being chased by my campers and thrown dodgeballs at, while my coworker led them in chant “Get Ashley!!!” while I ran away dramatically yelling “nooooo save me.” This included lots of laughs, and was the best way to end a good game of dodgeball.”
Ashley says: “Mountain Camp Marin has the best community of people and I truly felt so connected to the campers. It was an extremely rewarding and fun experience and I can’t wait to be back!”
Meet Theo, a returning General Counselor!
Favorite Activities: Gaga ball, archery, and going to the pool
Favorite Memory: “My favorite memory from last year was playing with some of the campers at the pool. The campers and I all banded together and used the small rubber water toys to squirt the other counselors. We all had a blast and had many laughs together!”
Theo says: “I cannot wait to come back to camp this year to create some more memories and connections with each camper and counselor!”

Harris says: “I’m coming back because of the great memories I’ve made with the Mountain Camp community from my 8 years as a camper to my job as a counselor last year.”

Why MCM?: “I decided to become a counselor because summer camps were always the best part of my summer (especially mountain camp).”
Miranda says: “I am most looking forward to making amazing memories.”

Why MCM?: “I decided to be a counselor at MCM because I love making new connections with all people.”

Meet Blaze, a NEW General Counselor!
Favorite Activity: Basketball!
Why MCM?: “I wanted to be a counselor becasue I like summer camps and I’ve had good experiences building friendships with counselors and other campers when I was a kid.”
Blaze says: “I’m really looking forward to getting to know everyone and hopefully having a great summer and maybe getting to know working with younger people better because I’m thinking about becoming a teacher.”
